Who are we? (And MM!)

Anime! Are? (It's pronounced are eh......Well the R kinda makes an...L sound...But, I digress.) A little introduction, and then onto what you came here for. This is a blog dedicated to the discovery of anime, what its about, etc. You might even learn a little bit of Japanese (Nihon-go). [See? LEARNING]!  Which for some could be considered pretty great.

I watch a lot of anime, some that is considered kind of strange, some that is old, some that is new, some that is popular, and some that makes you ask.....Are?(huh/what?) It is my goal to help you discover, and as such I will provide pictures, descriptions and reviews of anime that I find interesting (or terrible). SO! Lets start with my most recent anime.

Sado Tarou

"MM!" is an anime focused around a boy, Sado Tarou, who suffers from extreme masochism. He feels that in order to ever find true love, he must cure this "ailment" at all costs, and so he seeks the help of the second voluntary club for assistance. * * (A club at his school that specializes in granting the wishes of the students)

A Wild Mio Appears!
The club leader is a cute, but very violent girl named  Isurugi Mio. Mio is a self proclaimed god (she means well!) who is dedicated to helping Tarou with his problem, but... really only enables him. Other club members include:

Yuno Arashiko
Yuno Arashiko - An androphobic girl (afraid of men) who through a misunderstanding relating to her problem, is the one who caused Tarou to become a masochist in the first place.

Michiru Onigawara
Michiru Onigawara - The school nurse, and sponsor of the second voluntary club. She loves to make the members of the club dress up in cosplay and takes pictures of them. (This...is a little less weird in japan.........probably?) though a bit scary, she is always looking out for the well being of the members of the club.

There are a few more supporting characters, but talking about them would ruin the fun!

You know, I got judged for watching this one, and rightfully so. It's pretty out there in terms of content and awkward moments. BUT that being said, it is pretty hilarious, and there are plenty of "OMFG" moments too. Tarou has his problems, but don't we all? 7 out of 10; It's really good, but that awkwardness does make one want to blush if someone walks in while you watch it.
